Aaron and Hur hold Moses Arms to Win the Battle

"Moses said to Joshua, "Choose some men and go and fight the Amalekites. Tomorrow I will stand on the top of the hill, holding the walking stick of God in my hands."

Joshua obeyed Moses and went to fight the Amalekites, while Moses, Aaron, and Hur went to the top of the hill. As long as Moses held his hands up, the Israelites would win the fight, but when Moses put his hands down, the Amalekites would win. Later, when Moses' arms became tired, the men put a large rock under him, and he sat on it. Then Aaron and Hur held up Moses' hands—Aaron on one side and Hur on the other. They kept his hands steady until the sun went down. So Joshua defeated the Amalekites in this battle (Ex. 17:10-13)"

I was thinking on the above passage of scripture in light of the recent outcome from the election. It is obvious that what happened on the rock was every bit as important as what took place below! It is important that we as believers not grow weary in well-doing and lose heart in spite of not seeing a "conservative" leading our nation.

We must RENEW our strength in the 'hope' that God not forsake the remnant of those who 'fear Him.' Let us continue to seek Him and do the good deeds that we are asked by Him to do until He comes again. Let us pray it is "soon."

Let us believe for wisdom and strength for our new leaders and those who counsel them so that we may live peaceful and quiet lives as scripture encourages us to do.

What more can we hope for? God, grant us four more good--no, GREAT years we pray! God Bless America....In Jesus Name!
