We OVERCOME him (the devil) by the blood of The Lamb and the word of our Testimony

The following prayer was sent to me yesterday late in the evening by a friend in Orlando . I don't often open e-mail at night, but I did yesterday because our internet service had been down most of the afternoon.

I met a challenge earlier in the day when confronted by a neighbor over a pair of ducks which had been hard to shake off. It's a long story. When we first moved here, he had confronted me about calling the game warden in hope of removing a 9' alligator. That was our first conversation and I'd never laid eyes on him. That's a small part of the 'long' story!

Anyway, the confrontation had stayed with me all day, then when I pulled into the garage and accidentally hit my husband's bicycle which was parked in the narrow pathway of our two cars, knocking it into his car (not damaging it fortunately), Bob held me totally responsible, not offering to relocate the bicycle. That, too, didn't make my day any brighter.

So, I spent a whole day feeling funky....abused...even at church later in the day, I wasn't really wholeheartedly praising God whom I know deserves all my praise. Then, upon returning home and opening my e-mail, I found this simple prayer and I knew in my heart GOD had caused my friend to send it! I needed it LATE in the day on a WEDNESDAY!

I'm not even remotely a Mother Teresa...but I chose her because she may not be "beautiful" to the world, but she is beautiful in Gods eyes! And so, I'm believing, even when I fail, I can be too! And I hope the words of this prayer and this testimony can be an encouragement to you also.

"Dear God,

The lady reading this is beautiful, classy & strong and I love her.

Help her live her life to the fullest.

Please promote her and cause her to excel above expectations.

Help her to shine in darkest places and love where it is impossible to
love.

Protect her at all times, lift her up when she needs you the most and

let her know that when she walks with you; she will always be safe."
