In theory, that's great advice, but walking it out has it's challenges. At present, my son has encountered an OPPORTUNITY to have GREAT JOY...along with his six children. And for that matter, all who know and love him have that opportunity as well. His wife (and the children's mother) has decided to leave the family in Missouri and move to Florida where she was born and raised. This is not the ideal way for good Christians to 'finish' the race, but according to James exhortation......all our faith is going to grow and we're to let it grow so we may become 'perfectly complete and need nothing."
Well, with the help of God and lots of encouragement from the loving friends at Hope Family Fellowship, my son and his children are doing just that...growing in faith and turning out....FINE...I trust! I will happily join them in this faith walk and do what I can to assure their success. We have put our faith in God and we know "He never fails." God is good all the time."Weeping may last through the night, but joy comes with the morning." God doesn't always reveal the reasons, but as I heard Mrs. T. D. Jakes speak, "this came to PASS." This time of trial will pass and God's word says, "He makes All things work together for the good of those who are called according to His purposes." It will be interesting to see how he weaves a beautiful garment out of this turn of events no one would have wished upon an enemy.
