I, for one, am not a "winter" type of person, therefore when it snows, I don't get excited about going 'outside.' Dull days add to my SADD lethargy. That is a "real" physical disorder, by the way.
I know that there are those (like my granddaughter) who would move to an even colder climate than we have here. Many enjoy outdoor sports such as snow skiing, sledding, ice skating and so on, but sadly, I'm not one of them. Maybe, I didn't learn to appreciate these kinds of activities because of growing up in KY where the temps are more moderate during winter and I didn't have opportunity very often to enjoy them.
Whatever the source of my present state of mind, it is to say, "Hurry up, old man Winter" and "get on out of here!" I don't want to "wish" my life away and I'll do my best to make the "best" of each of the next couple of months. However, if my prayers are answered, we won't have anymore snow and we'll enjoy an early Spring:>)
