FOLLOW HIS LEAD
Gal. 5:19-"When you follow the desires of your sinful nature, the results are very clear: sexual immorality, impurity, lustful pleasures, 20 idolatry, sorcery, hostility, quarreling, jealousy, outbursts of anger, selfish ambition, dissension, division, 21 envy, drunkenness, wild parties, and other sins like these. Let me tell you again, as I have before, that anyone living that sort of life will not inherit the Kingdom of God. 22 But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, and self-control."
The Lord spoke to me recently and said: "Feed my sheep." I know some of you may have an issue with Him speaking to "me," but you'll just have to trust me with that. It wasn't audible; just a still, small voice in my spirit and of course, these words are a scripture that He had spoken to the apostle Peter.
As I've been studying from an amazing workbook, "True Christianity" by Paul Caram, I've been challenged to "grow" in my walk with the Lord. I can honestly say that although I have been at this pursuit a long time..34 years or more, since before receiving the baptism in the Holy Spirit, I see such a "need" for more of the "fruit" of the Spirit.
We are encouraged in the book of James, when we lack "wisdom" to ask for it. I'm asking...and I'm sharing all of this to encourage anyone reading these words to go to James...read so that your faith will increase and then ask for more wisdom for yourself and "grow." Don't remain the same!
