LOVE...we're coming to that "season" where we're reminded about either finding or showing love.

I personally absolutely LOVE God's WORD, the Bible!  Below are a "tasting" of my favorite passages. I began my quest to read and learn from the Bible over 30 years ago and I still get excited when I reread something important or "find" something new.

Psalm 34:8--"TASTE AND SEE THAT THE LORD IS GOOD!"

Here are a few of my favorites:
2 Chronicals 16:9
"For the eyes of the Lord move to and fro throughout the earth that He may strongly support those whose heart is completely His."

Psalm 103
"Bless the Lord, O my soul,
And forget none of His benefits;
Who pardons all your iniquities,
Who heals all your diseases;
Who redeems your life from the pit,
Who crowns you with loving kindness and compassion;
Who satisfies your [a]years with good things,
So that your youth is renewed like the eagle."

Jeremiah 33:3
"Ask me and I will tell you remarkable secrets you do not know about things to come."

James 1:
"2 Consider it all joy, my brethren, when you encounter various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. And let endurance have its perfect result, so that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.
But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it will be given to him. But he must ask in faith without any doubting, for the one who doubts is like the surf of the sea,driven and tossed by the wind. For that man ought not to expect that he will receive anything from the Lord, being a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.

And then, my "life" verse:

Hebrews 11:6
"And it is impossible to please God without faith.  Anyone that wants to come to Him must believe that God exists and that He rewards those who sincerely seek Him."

Proverbs 4:18
"The way of the righteous is like the first gleam of dawn, which shines ever brighter until the full day."

Psalm 90:12
"Teach us to recognize the brevity of life, so that we may grow in wisdom."

Joshua 24:15
"And if it seem evil to you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom you will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord."

Daniel 10:11
"And the man (angel) said to me, 'Daniel, you are very precious to God, so listen carefully to what I have to say to you.'"

Three times Daniel was addressed this way:  VERY PRECIOUS.

In my study of the book of Daniel, seeking to learn why he was addressed as such, because I was a bit jealous, I felt I came up the reason.  Not only was he obedient, even risking possible death in order to follow the "ways" of God as he'd been taught as a young boy, but he was also an intercessor, pleading for mercy on behalf of others.

There is so much to make one ponder as we read the scriptures!  I would encourage anyone reading my words...to read the Bible and get to know Jesus better through His Word.

This is my "LOVE" letter to YOU!
