He's a hardworking guy! In fact, he flies to Columbus, On most weeks and if not, he's working from home. Sometimes I'd like to stomp that cell phone...but I guess it does allow us to live and work in two places at once...you know what I mean :>)
We've taken on the challenge of offering our condo FSBO...and we held and open house yesterday. Amazingly, we had an interested party..a gentleman, who brought his wife back this morning. I think they like our place well enough to make an offer. He said he'd call us by Wednesday, one way or the other. How considerate!
My daily devotional included these thoughts under the title "THE LORD GAVE HIM SUCCESS IN EVERYTHING HE DID" (Gen. 39:3 NIV) -- Having what it takes to succed: (3) Means: When God gives you a vision, look for His provision. If you can't find it, either your timing is off, or what you want differs from what God wants for you. God's provision may come as an idea that hits you suddenly, or a thought that takes root and grows in you over time. Certainly, God's provision will always involve the help of others, so walk in love wherever you go."
Obviously, we cannot follow Pastor Steve and Tracy to Tampa (comfortably) until we sell this condo. Earlier I had prayed for God's favor...something Bob and I pray for often. This couple "liked" us. They said they could never buy a house from someone they didn't like. He shared a story about a home they purchased in Connecticut whereby the seller and he became very close friends in spite of quite an age difference. Whether or not they ultimately purchase our home, the time spent was a pleasure. They were interesting and they paid us several compliments about our home so I feel the time was not wasted.
Doors open...we walk through! It won't be difficult (apart from the physical), because we 'know'...yes, 'know' we're being 'called' and that's where the satisfaction lies! I pray the same Spirit of Grace fill each one reading this with the knowledge and understanding of His will for your lives. When lights turn green...you should move or someone may hit you from behind!
