DESPISE NOT THE DAY OF SMALL BEGINNINGS

This couple (my son) will be celebrating 10 years of marriage tomorrow. That is an important milestone on their journey of life. I believe God went to a great deal of trouble to see that the two of them were joined together in Holy Matrimony! He moved Chad and I from KY to FL during his senior year in High School, only to have him want to return to his KY school before the year was over, but in the meantime, he'd met some folks from a church called NORTHLAND....hmmmm. God was up to something!

That's just the beginning of the story. During one Spring Break Chad arranged a date for his friend who 'happened' to be Mandy. It seems the sparks were flying between these two and the rest is "history" as they say. Interestingly, they were both from the same hometown of Lexington, born in the same hospital and even attended the same Montessori School but at different sessions. However, it took the Lord to arrange a meeting at a special time and place and now they have weathered plenty of storms and have many life-lessons to pass on to others.

God took them from college into ministry and teaching. Eventually after leaving the ministry, Chad entered the business world. They are parenting three beautiful children all the while. Now they're ministering once again from their home to College students. For God's gifts and His call are irrevocable. [He never withdraws them when once they are given, and He does not change His mind about those to whom He gives His grace or to whom He sends His call.] (Rom. 11:29-AMP) I've heard Chad preach and there is no doubt in my mind--HE IS CALLED OF GOD!
