It certainly is important that they, nor we, let down our guard (spiritually) and see any other than God's choice named our next President. Regardless who is chosen, we have to pray for that person and all elected officials.
There is a danger that many are being dangerously led to vote either because they can finally choose a black man or contrarily they wouldn't choose a black man simply because he is black. I'm sure either choice based on skin color alone is the wrong choice. We should always look inside the person and at issues...not skin or sex for that matter. If Hillary was in the place of Barack, the choice might be just as confusing for some Democrats.
Leaving that subject, I had an amazing site one day as I stepped out my back door. I heard something and as I looked to the left I saw an eagle taking off from the ground and his wing span was awe inspiring. It sets the stage for me to share God's word from Isa. 40:27-31--"People of Jacob, why do you complain? People of Israel, why do you say, 'The Lord does not see what happens to me; he does not care if I am treated fairly'? Surely you know. Surely you have heard. The Lord lives forever, who created all the world. He does not become tired or need to rest. No one can understand how great his wisdom is. He gives strength to those who are tired and more power to those who are weak. Even children become tired and need to rest, and young people trip and fall. But the people who trust the Lord will become strong again. They will rise up as an eagle in the sky; they will run and not need rest; they will walk and not become tired."
