I think she's probably most "thankful" that she's coming to the end of her third semester of teaching so that perhaps she won't be handed any new classes to have to learn the curriculum from 'scratch.'
Anyway, I started pondering her accomplishments and I realized I have stated throughout the years that she was a little like the 'turtle who won the race.' Diligence always pays off!
Les above at only 7 months old, already sitting up. She was born in Texas, but moved back to Lexington, KY at 15 months old and she's pretty blue and white through and through.
She got more of her Dad's Greek side of the family which means olive complexion, tan skin without having to bake in the sun! How fortunate! Her paternal grandparents were UK fans of the Century I think (not really, but they should have been) and I'm sure that passed through the genes also.
She took up a rather interesting sport--BODY BUILDING and won several NATIONAL COMPETITIONS!!!!! YES!--NO steroids.
Joker's her man and that's a good thing for each of them. I'm sure he's glad the Stamatis family loved UK Sports because not only did he, but now look what's happening!!!!!
Then there's the brothers (a sister photo should be here, but alas we'll just talk about Cy). They're both C R A Z Y-- in a nice way-- AND they love KY FOOTBALL too---and B-Ball!
So, that's my girl, lady, woman, (amazing, woman now) who's great to her nieces and nephews, loves YOGA and is an expert at it, as well as an INSTRUCTOR in it. She's enthusiastic, thorough and thoughtful and I suspect----THANKFUL. I know I sure am!
