I must say that the fun we all had visiting "Aunt Cy and Uncle Eli's" 5 acres in Georgetown, KY since the addition of Nonnie, the horse, has made Thanksgiving and days following very exciting! We had Shane's 6 kids there to enjoy the horse and the acreage which included approximately 8 cats, a greyhound (and Ziggy) rabbit, lots of running space and did I mention more kids (totalling 11)!!!
Now, that I've arrived in Ohio I can visit with Bob's WONDERFUL, gracious sister who provides his home away from home. She's very busy decorating for Christmas, her favorite time of year! I wish I could be of more help, but the cold only tightens up my already stiff bones. Being here means I get to see the other "daughters, their husbands, and grandkids" which rounds out our cumulative total of grands to 24!!!
Ziggy is also here...with a rather confused look on his face some of the time since he's not only been with Stella, then at Cy's in Ky, but back to Stella's. He's probably wondering, "Do you guys remember where home is?"
Anyway, the holidays bring travel, refreshment to relationships and in my case a wonderful opportunity to meet a friend of a friend...Nathan. He's been helping my longest known friend in Lexington and he's a fine young, Christian man. From there Anne and I were introduced to his friends, Derick and Anna (a married couple) and we got to pray over them and prophesy! What a joy! We believe these young men (and Anna, the wife of Derick) are called to China as an Apostle and Prophet team to "start a fire" as Derick was told by the Holy Spirt. I can't wait to hear how that word is fulfilled!
Well, that sorta catches you up to date! It's been exciting...and Cold. Don't forget that's why I LOVE FLORIDA.....IT'S WARM THERE MOST OF THE TIME!!!!! I sincerely hope your Thanksgiving was Happy.....OURS has been and is still carrying over toward Christmas :>)
