The Real Meaning Of Christmas!

I'm sorry I'm not more spiritual....but I think the previous posting might be able to explain why I'm not. That and my age and physical condition combined! You see, when I reflect on how much there is to do between November 24th and December 31st...approximately....when there are other months that roll by with hardly anything to do, it just makes me 'crazy.'

I'm not normally a complaining type of person, but now is when I really feel STRESS...something I don't ordinarily. With my limitations...back surgeries, bad knees, not to mention my feet, I just can't run around shopping nor run through air ports nor climb up and down ladders to pull decorations out or put them away as I used to do. My enthusiasm for eating sweets has even waned since I've been reading BREAKTHROUGH by Suzanne Somers and joined Life Extension Foundation!

So, I'd like to gather a group of people...preferably family--and I know they probably won't be the ones younger than 18 and most won't even be close to that age, who will join a 'fast.' Let's just call a fast that begins right after Thanksgiving each year and ends on January 1! Let's agree to not go anywhere or buy anything! Let's not move any objects around in our houses! Lets read more books and watch only Christmas TV programs...the uplifting kind...not necessarily about the baby Jesus since we know that one by heart. A great new one this year is called The Christmas Child. There may be lots of new ones I've been too busy to watch!

I know some of you probably think I may sound like Scrooge, but I can take the pressure. I feel pressured anyway!

I do hope you're having a wonderful time and enjoying all the rushing around and that all your wishes will come true! I mean that sincerely!

If I had time I'd be reading the Story ...... in my Bible!
