Fearfully and Wonderfull Made

Too good to be true!  Yep, that's what I have to say after my eight weeks of physical therapy and thinking the symptoms were GONE!  I started noticing I was experiencing "tingling" in my hands once I arrived in Kansas in February and told Gail, my neck is probably in as bad shape as yours!  

She'd already been diagnosed with bulging discs in her neck and was going to see a neurologist after  I arrived.  They started her with a physical therapist to put off surgery since she is the mother of six children and also was planning a trip to China in late May.  So far, so good!

Well, with that being said, I ended up seeing my own doctor about a sinus infection when I went back to Florida and mentioned the 'tingling' in my hands and she referred me to a Neuromusculor Therapy Center that I love!  I was relieved of the tingling....so I thought!  Today, as I got up from a relaxing moment in my Lazy-Boy recliner....it was back.  No way!!!  Yes, way. So, I immediately asked for my daughter-in-law's doctor's numbers! 

Yes, I'm back in KS/MO, however, you want to look at it since we stradle the border going back and forth from one side to the other.  The air port is in KS.  My son's work is in KS.  But our house and my trailer behind their house is in MO.  All the doctors and important places like Costco are also in KS.  I think you can tell we live in the "country."  We have a gas station, post office, sandwich shop and that's about it. Oops, I can see you smiling--now stop it!

My kids just left for a family church camp so I have a Sheltie and a great  number of rabbits (two are pregnant and expecting Monday) for companionship.  Paxie..the Sheltie is part kangaroo I'm convinced.  She can pratically climb a tree in a single leap!  She's only about 16" tall but has jumped a 4 1/2 ' tall fence.  She will go in the yard all alone and just run circles for hours.  She has more energy than the Energizer Bunny and we know that's a ROBOT!  Since the family left about an hour ago...all she's done is sleep.  So have I.  I guess we know where we get our inspiration!

Well, I've called my NEW doctor to take a look inside my neck.  If they look lower they'll find at least 10 screws and some other metal left over from the two surgeries I had in 2004.  Thanks, Anne for the 3 weeks you dedicated to my recuperation.  I'll try not to have to have any more surgeries but for sure I have a few extra folks to draw on for helping me out in my new location :>) in the event it seems inevitable.  I thought my exercise and massage was working so well! Dag gonnit...I guess we just can't always tell about these things.
