AREN'T WE THERE YET?

If any travel agent should happen to be reading this, my hat if is off to you! As my husband and I have made plans for a trip to Alaska, what started off with what seemed a simple 'cruise' turned into a nightmarish pile of decisions about first which airline, then which city to stay in for land tours, then which cruise line and on and on!

It has taken us WEEKS to make these decisions and we thought we had it settled....last Sunday. That's down to the wire by my estimation. Then the packet came Monday from the cruise line and in it are hundred's (no exaggeration) of choices for THEIR land tours. So now we have to decide on whether to take those and if so, which ones. Good grief!

Then there's the issue of what to pack. I think I've got that pretty well worked out...that is assuming the suit case will close and won't way more than the allotted 50 lbs.

If I don't come back with some FABULOUS photos and some great tales to tell....I'm going to write my congressman!

What's that guys name that always has sarcastic, caustic comments at the end of 60 Minutes??? (Andy Rooney) I think I sound just like him...and he sure is ugly! Oh dear...I better start again on a nicer note, but I'll do that when I return. I won't be so tired. It will be cool in Alaska and I'll be refreshed after a vacation, RIGHT?
